Project Description
Within the fantasy village of "Drakendorp," guests learn about practical environmental practices, local history and culture, and discover a beast lurking in the nearby mountain mining cave system.
The Drakendorp land is split into village and mining districts, with the two main attractions, Drakengrotten: Secrets of the Olms and Capture That! set within the latter area. There are multiple quiet areas (see "The Quiet Place" and the "Village Garden") and flexible areas for events and private bookings (see "Event Space" and the "Guarded Grotto" resteraunt).
Below are drawn sectional elevations for scene one of Drakengrotten: Secrets of the Olms, a Mack Rides “Rocking Boat” attraction.
This is a concept floorplan for a ride simulator attraction. Guests enter small enclosed rooms and when starting the ride experience will change (rotate) into traditional ride simulator theatres. With a theoretical hourly capacity of 1,280 passengers, this concept attempts to retain a high throughput while creating a unique loading and ride experience.
