NextGen Showcase

2023/24 - Technical Artist & Designer for RebaVision International
Project Overview
NextGen Showcase is a year-long program dedicated to the next generation of themed entertainment designers. Participants become tasked with creating a themed land and attraction in response to a client brief. NextGen includes design phases through BlueSky, Concept Development, and Schematic and Detailed design.
Contributions
As a Technical Artist and Designer, I was given the opportunity in contributing to various aspects of the design and development of the brief. More specifically, I have immense involvement in master planning, ride-scene sectional elevations, technical narratives and early strategies, concept art, ride vehicle design, operational and directional signage, narrative writing, and concept development.
FULL PROJECT OUTLINE COMING MAY 2024.

Turn-Table Ride
Simulator Concept

2023, Revision along with Attraction Concept Slated for 2024
Project Overview
Creating a unique ride simulator attraction, the attached floor plan might illustrate how this turn-table ride system might operate. Guests enter small enclosed rooms, which, when starting their experience, are 'changed' into traditional ride simulator theatres.
Contributions
Achieved by attaching ride vehicles and cut-out walls to a rotating base, the goal is for simulator technologies to hide from guests' view while loading and unloading from an attraction.

This floor plan was a concept that I first drew when learning AutoCad; however, I do intend to iterate and expand this idea with a realized designed attraction in 2024.

Palace Network

2021 - Parks Development Lead
Project Overview
Consisting of 100+ volunteers, The Palace Network was a multiplayer Minecraft server focused on 1:1 scale recreations of Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort.

Ten years old, the server gained immense popularity during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Contributions
As Parks Development Lead, I oversaw and created the server's recreations. As such, I managed volunteers, replicated 1:1 floorplans of the resorts, and collaborated with other departments to create 3D models, graphics, server plug-ins, and audio integration servers.
Technologies
Google Earth/Satellite Imaging, Adobe Suite, Audacity, Blockbench, WinSCP/FileZilla
